Afternoon Tea

Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum
Step back in time and join us for an elegant afternoon tea. Enjoy a delightful spread of sandwiches, desserts, and tea in a charming and historic setting.

The afternoon will feature a special performance by historic reenactor Muriel Dyas, who will bring Susan B. Anthony to life through a captivating and inspiring portrayal of the legendary suffragist.

Join the Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum in the Family Fun Zone for a hands-on celebration of history and activism. Kids and families can stop by to make their own protest signs, buttons, and stickers inspired by the Votes for Women campaign.
Adams Visitor Center Outreach
Saturday, May 3rd and Sunday, May 4th | 10am - 4pm
3 Hoosac St, Adams, MA 01220
The museum will be staffing the Adams Visitor Center with displays, informational materials, and a Susan B. Anthony cutout. A signed copy of The Rejected Stone will also be on view to connect visitors to Adams' rich history.

Shakespeare & Company Community Day

The Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum returns for the second annual Community Day at Shakespeare & Company. Drop by our booth to explore the museum’s story, discover upcoming programs, and pick up historically inspired keepsakes from our Gift Shop.
Families can enjoy hands-on activities—making suffrage-themed crafts and learning about women’s history through interactive stations. Volunteers are invited to join us at the booth—please get in touch if you’d like to help share our mission at this community celebration.
Second Annual Declaration of the Rights of Women Reenactment

Adams Town Common
This powerful reenactment of Susan B. Anthony’s 1876 “Declaration of the Rights of Women” returns for a second year. Experience history brought to life as interpreters present this landmark speech.

Muriel Dyas reprises her acclaimed performance as Susan B. Anthony, joined by a cast of local actors wearing authentic 19th-century costumes. Attendees are invited to gather on the common for an inspiring evening that honors the legacy of women’s suffrage and sparks conversation about equality today.
Williamstown 4th of July Parade

The Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum will join the Williamstown Fourth of July Parade, with staff, interns, and volunteers proudly clad in authentic period attire.
